MARCH 22nd | MONOLOGUES
22nd March, 12:30 - 15:00.
March’s Beating Heart workshop is all about monologues.
Monologues can be daunting; it’s your responsibility to carry the piece all the way through. You don’t always have the comfort of scene partners. And honestly, sometimes it really sucks trying to find a piece that suits you.
In this workshop we ask actors to bring in a monologue of their choice to work on/share with the group. This can be from any genre of theatre/film script.
**For this workshop we ask that you be as off-book as possible & prepared to an audition level standard. We ask this as we strongly believe at Gaun Yersel’ that you cannot work on your craft if you don’t have the freedom to be away from the page. (We’re a gym, not the Olympics, but you still need to wear your trainers!)
Tea & biscuits will be supplied throughout !!

***While we have set up a fixed rate for workshops on the website, it is by no means a hard line. We value our community, and want to do best by them, and our workshop charges don’t always have to be in £ currency; we offer skill swaps, time exchanges, and commission rates. For more information please reach out to us at info@gaunyerselworkshop.com with the subject ‘Non-Fixed Workshop Rates’.
